Cardinals fans on the move will soon have a new post-game hangout. Ozzie's Burger Bar, named after Cardinals great Ozzie Smith, will open this Thursday, September 21, inside Lumière Place. (Ozzie's Restaurant & Sports Bar closed September 10.)
The fast-casual restaurant—open for lunch, dinner, and late night—will be located in a newly constructed area adjacent to the casino's entrance. 'We felt like we didn't have a lot of options for our guests for a Monday-through-Friday lunch and late-night option,' says Lumière Place's Amy Meier. 'For someone who just wants to grab a burger and go, we didn't really have anything. That's where this came about.' For patrons who'd rather dine at the restaurant, there will be approximately 80 to 90 seats.
The menu will include four signature burgers: a classic burger, a Swiss and mushroom bacon burger, a barbecue bacon cheddar burger, and a Piggy Back burger topped with pulled pork. Among the sides: sweet potato waffle fries, thick-cut onion rings, and coleslaw. Ozzie's will serve milkshakes in classic flavors (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry), as well as soft drinks, domestic beers, import and craft beers, and wine.
